a smaller pulley on the charger would increase boost and therefore torque

Hmmm ok, but with out increasing boost?!

Head work? Ported charger? Ported inlet?

I'd go for manifold/plenum sizes

turn up the boost and dont be such a gay.

simple.

why have a forced induction enging and not use its ONLY advantage?!

nothing, nothing in the slightest, gives noticable increases in torque like boost pressure does.

even larger capacity takes a big increase to match even a mild increase in boost, never mind other more minor mods.

I'd only want to run 10psi as much as I love the boost.... Its a stock bottom end with a de-comp plate

Could just fucking 'av it and wait till it explodes

make sure you got a good intercooler, or run water injection (pre s/c if not intercooled), then you can safely run less gay boost.

decent headwork means you will be able to flow more air for the boost, so will need to run higher pulley speed for 10psi than if not, so more power.

dont touch the cam, overlap is gay on s/c cars.
