with some small modifications you can turn a 5 tone bleep into a nine or ten tone easily enough... if you wanted to o a bit futher then again easily done just by adding a bit more circuitry i used to have close encounters on mine, although the 4th note was totally variable outide of the rig

adapted the k tone to some weired and wonderfull things aswell i was more well known for my bleeps and rig dr'ng than actually for being me

also had endless complaints over tvi etc even had the home office appear once and actually adjusted the standard york 863 on his spectrum analyser, worked very well after that
then got a writen warning of eviction from the council for having my silver rod 40 foot high on 2 scaffold poles that night i borrowed a friends 500 watt burner wiped out most of the estate for a few nights

Fook me, this takes me back. I used to have CB about 10 years ago in the car with a 100 watt kicker killing TVs and car alarms Had a rig in me wagon in me old job. Excellent for getting round jams on the motorways. Still a fair few truckers use em.
Golden oldie rigs are making a fair few quid on ebay these days aswell. I sold a few old Hygain V's a while back for 100+ quid each

My brother had a CB in his Mini around ten years ago now, then him and my Dad started winding up one of our neighbours on the CB imitating a parrot and offering him a job on some oil rigs.

Nothin wrong with em 27's lawnsy i converted my last one of them to go from 24 - 32 mhz no gaps it was a piece of piss to do aswell i also had the exact same burner years ago and blew the valves as i forgot to put it on stand by before giving it large

Best home base burner i had was a bremi brl 500 i caused tvi to a guy 3 streets away

the only down point with them is you can not turn the power up, note the burner....

Yep correcto i had to run a burner with mine too, Only thing i really dont like is the micro circuits inside so difficult to solder when necessary,

Well theres been a fair few replies but not as many as i expected maybe some people dont want to remember the good old days lol
