just bought a T34 off someone but how can i tell it is what he says it is?
meant to be a T34 with a .63 housing?
any ways of me being able to check it?
dont fancy trekking all way down to NMS to tell me its just another T3

it will have a 70mm air intake on the compressor housing
the outlet on the compressor will appear bigger than the one on a t3 (the t34 compressor housing has more material removed).
it will have a/r .60 on the front
the exhaust housing will have 63 stamped in the part that connects to the exhaust manifold.
it will look physically bigger
there should be a fixed mounting point for the actuator and possibly a removeable one.

Size of the TURBINE housing is marked accordingly.
The T34 COMPRESSOR housing is 70mm inlet.
Though it could still be a T34 with a T3 COMPRESSOR HOUSING, that has been machined out.
The T34(escy) is reduced in size dramatically inside the inlet just before it reaches the COMPRESSOR WHEEL, so a T3 can be made the same size internally.
The bearing housing is identical.
