as some of you know i have a 200sx top mount turbo manifold, and fucking great turbo for the 3dr (and if you dont, click my sig for my resto thread!)

anyhow, after looking at it tonight, i had a thought...

i think the turbo will sit about 140mm higher than the cam cover when its all bolted up...

so i kinda need to know how much space there is under the bonnet lol

and i cant measure mine as the engine is still at reyland, but will hopefully be coming back with me on thursday

ok, in a moment of spazzy tiredness last night, i think i got it a bit wrong

i had the manifold lined up with a bare head, ie it had no cam caps or a cam cover...

had another look earlier as i was thinking about it all day...

its 55mm from the manifold flange to the top of the head, add 35mm for cam cap and bolts, and another say 20mm for the cam cover, then i think ill only need aobut 30-40mm of clearance between the cam cover and the bonnet

the turbo is 150mm from flange to exhaust housing, so i think it will be ok
