i drive my old dears mk1 clio diesel all the time!
look like a right spanner in such a gay little car
but is no worse than a non GTT R5 in that way.
its a sleeper, im not going croozin in it, dont matter it looks toss.
same as my S12, i wouldnt be seen dead in it, but i dont drive it anywhere where anyone sees me driving it in any other way than maximum attack

i dont know why i have to keep the clio ecu, my mate found someone else doing the same conversionand the clio ecu controlled other things aswell as the clocks he says
so posisbly can be alarm etc
hes on about just sticking the whole volvo loom in now an taking the clio one out
i say good look id rather wire in 6 wires if i can find whats what
as its only management i need to wire in but i dont know whare to start

What's wrong with the carb?? I ran one on a 2.0L pinto turbo.. so I'm sure it'll be no probs on a 1.7. It's not like you're gonna be bragging on the MPG on cruise, cheap sleeper... keep the carb IMO
