Jim Clark Rally.....Pics
Few pics from the weekends event up in Scotland.....
Sadly got no pics from Friday as the camera played up AGAIN
but once all fixed Saturday & a very wet Sunday was all ok...Enjoy 
This was a tester pic to see if everything ok....clean tarmac
Then the rally began, 1st off the World cars followed by the GRP N
Little lock up
Check out the skid marks.....
After about 18 cars or so the stage was cancelled due to Barry Johnson having a heavy landing & his car was on fire
so off to service....

Mr Finch's Silver Escort in the background
Tim looked to be enjoying the stages
Then back out to the stages & it's started to rain, hmmm wet tarmac & slicks
Oops.....

Quick trip back to service before leaving for home.....

awsome pics there mate. How did the blue/silver Hyundai WRC go? The guy who prep's/rebuilds it is local to me and a top bloke to boot

i was there too paul driving the media crew for the armed forces rally team, we smashed up 3 of the 5 land rovers 2 bad and 1 little dink. was awesome though, good pics mate

Simmo in the Hyundai finished 4th O/A (in the Nationals), 1 minute behind the WRC Escort of Nigel Worswick, 19 year old David Bogie was second O/A in the yellow Metro 6R4 and the National event was won by Andy Fenwick in the Subaru (car 110) Tim finished 19th O/A (was up just outside the top 10 early on Saturday but then slowly started dropping back)
We had a little competition going on on the internet and digital radio for the event to who could get the most mentions
I came runner up with 5

The silver Hyundai is a local Manchester car Rob84, you sure its not another similar one your thinking of (Damian Cole) ?

JP was 5th o/a 2 seconds behind Simpson
He can still mix his older car with the more modern WRC cars
19 year old Bogie in his 6R4 was 2 minutes quicker than Price tho, but he has youth on his side now too
Im sure he will be at the Prom again - looking for another win

but he can drive a bit 
He crashed his Evo 9 on the Manx rally a couple of weeks back
Only ripped a front leg off it, but that meant he had to use either the Metro, the 1.6 Corsa or the 1.4 Nova lol John Stone appears to be selling up Paul, everything is for sale
Such a shame, one of the nicest local guys in the sport too
