Car Hire @ the Ring....
I'm going to the ring later in the year with the central group.
Only thing is that I am going as a passenger in someone else's car, and I want to have a drive while I'm out there. Did a bit of googling and found this:
http://www.ringhaus.com/hotel_en/public/cars.php
I would be looking at the 325 I think. Has anyone used these guys, or can recommend anyone else for a day's car hire at a reasonable rate? I want something with a bit of poke, but haven't got ferrari hire deep pockets!

Am I missing something?
150 Euros for half a day in a E30 325i
Or a week for 500. You could buy one for that! Why not just go to Avis/Hertz at the nearest airport and rent something decent. For a couple days at the same rate.

I don't think Avis or Hertz will be too receptive to their car being thrashed round the ring. I read on one website that they apply a massive charge to your credit card if their cars are seen on track.
The other thing I thought of doing would be to buy a cheap rwd car off ebay a day before I go, and use the 7 days free insurance you get from norwich union. Then sell it on when I get home.
