Been offered one in a deal as px for the 3dr and went to have a look at it last night.

From the off it needs new rear arches as they are proper fooked and the A post on both sides need welding, nearside is worse than offside. Delocked boot, diamond cut alloys, scorpion, running stg1. Few months tax and test left on it and a couple of under bonnet bling bits. Interior is clean and the sunroof seems to only have a few spots of surface rust just coming through.

why would you want a rst over a 3dr......?????

 

3dr is being sold mate. dont really want the rst but was thinnking if i get it cheap enough i could then sell it on but it seems like it needs to needs too much work and more hassle.

I got a e30 beemer to strip and take round a track and the 3dr just sits there. Has not been driven since end of november last year.

 

In the state it is you have described i wouldn't pay no more than £500-800 for it imo.

 

not worth the hassle imo theres bound to be more wrong with it when u start lookin properly if its dirt cheap ie £400 it be worth breaking

 

i was only thinking of paying about 500 for it. defo think there will be more work needed as the kit is coming away from the rear arches on one side nearly chopped my fingers off checking the arches under the skirt

 

By the sounds of what it needs I would say it was worth fuck all apart from as a breaker

Guess its worth a bit more than an early s2 due to being on a h reg but then its not like there rocking horse sh*t on a h reg

 

i may as well fook it off then - much rather have the cash than a rusty old rst.

 

could well be more stress and headache than its worth.Or you could just bung it straight on ebay if your not giving alot for it and youll get your money back

£500 tops mate, if the A Pillars are gone then it aint even worth looking at, and remember you aint even seen the underneath yet!

Don't let him fool you about 'H' Plates being rare either, there are plenty around and the fuckin things aint been making any money for years now, don't seem to sell IMO!

 

Cheers Dan - i think the guy is stalling for time anyway till he can raise the cash - im getting fed up with time wasting and one of the reasons why i have never put the car up for sale.

 

That 3 door still not gone I thought someone was coming to pick it up, pass on the turbo and take the readies rst in good condition is a boy racer chav mobil let alone a old rusty pig
