Again, this time slowly. This has been said on every thread of this nature.
Cat's are FREE ROAMING animals. This means that they can legally go wherever they like. If you harm one, then expect to get reported or otherwise.
Dog's are NOT free roaming. This means that they CANNOT go where they like.
So, if my cat got hurt merely because it went into next doors garden and shat in their flowerbed, I would rightly go up the fucking wall.
However, if next-doors dog came into my garden and intimidated my cat, I would politely ask it to leave, then shout at it, then if it didn't listen and I had nothing else to hand, I would hit it with a Garden Rake or something. I wouldn't pour battery acid over it, or brutalise it with a brick.

water only scares them off for a week or two i know because i was lookin after my dads pigeons one day when i went into the shed and found two off my dads pigeons lyin dead on the floor the next thing i see is this fuckin cat jumping about the avory tryin to get out, so i shut the window off the shed goin to the avory got the hose out and chased it round the avory for 15 mins to teach it a lesson! then let it out would u believe it two weeks later the cat was tryin to get in again
