ouch its gonna cost

first thing you need is the 4 digit code that you should have if you dont hae that thats going to cost lol

you then need to buy the actual key and there about 70 quid for the remote locking then you have to pay for it to be prgramed lol

all in i think a new key is about £125

i am guessing your not local to chipenham as my dad has all the gear to reprogram second hand keys.

Right had the run around this morning big time, now phoned the vauxhall dealer along the road from me this morning who are total wankers to say the least , anyway explianed to them what happened and they said all in all £130 and up to 5 days to get a key here !!!

Soo raging i said no chance to them , and phoned the vauxhall dealer 12 miles away and they said all in all coded up and working again £98 and they should have the key for tomorrow lunch time im sooo angry with it all , and how they could be so different ! the first wasn`t intrested at all and the 2nd one was soo helpful well for vauxhall people anyway

But going to need to take the van to the first one to get key coded as its closer and may need to tow it , BUT my question is if i put new key in ignition to undo steering lock and say hold old broken key close to it , will my van start to get my there ???? something to do with the chip in it or something , i dont know
