Default options for button for launch controll

ok been having talks with stu about this launch control and how we are going to deactivate it, suggestions come up about swtichs under clutch pedal but still need another switch to deactivate the one under pedal for 2nd or 3rd gear.

being on the dash is too awkward
std steering wheels dont have buttons bar the horn.

but i have found something thats perfect but its king of tackyness

Microswitch on first, and a dash button to arm it?

i.e. dash button for overall 'on' state, and then microswitch on gear leaver that only allows activation when in first, disarming it when you change out of first.

Mike R had a boost control system setup similar to that on his old Sapph' I believe (for boost levels).

you want two buttons.....

one master to turn the LC on,

and one mounted on the clutch pedal, so when the pedal is right up the lc is off...

then you dont need any buttons as such to operate the lc, when the clutch pedal is down sat at the lights the lc is operating, when you pull off and the pedal comes right up it will switch off, when you are driving normally swotch the master off

used to have this system on an old car of mine ,had full throttle gear change too
