Excellent, I'll have a chat with Daz, and you can pop round when both are cars are up and running in the next 2 weeks. (well mine is at mo, but daz's will be sorted in next 2 weeks)

hopefully Ranj, you can appreciated all the hard work Daz and I have put into our engines rather than shooting us down.

Ranj,

It is human nature, I agree, but the way in which people often question me is actually quite vindictive and not at all showing a mutual passion towards cars. People should encourage each other to build engines like mine, but people chose to doubt and be envious in my opinion. I believe the route cause to be pure jealousy! As I've said before nothing more fickle than men when they are passionate about things! You only have to look at religion to see how man is his own worst enemy, and will bicker and fight over virtually anything!!

Ooooh, good post!

There's only three tuners I'd use, having met them all in person, and been drinking with at least two of them

My next engine will cost me a lot of money (relative to what I earn), so I want to be trusting in who I use.

Karl...yes i am jealous of you.......purely because i could NEVER be as arrogant

To say you did 200mph is bollocks...cause to do that would be on a public highway..and if you did this you need locking up before you kill someone

not that i doubt Karl i know nothing of his engine and tbh i coudnt care

but for the sake of it just take 1 person out, possibly the biggest doubter i dunno Ima Ranj whoever...

if they then confirm what you did, you can all stop arguing and then maybe every thread wont go down this route. then again it probably would neway

*a video wouldnt go a miss so the rest of us can appreciate your car*

Yes, 200mph can be perfect acceptable on public roads in the right situation.

Just as 70mph in the wrong situation is insane.

You don't know the circumstances in which Karl intends to acheive this speed so can not comment on it's safety or lack thereof.

You post was simply made to gain a reaction out of people, as we've seen from you over and over again.

You never speed with your 916 or 500bhp Cosworth then??

Best sell them then, I suggest a nice rover 25

Good topic here Steve and yes your right, you do waffle a bit

Karl if you take Ranj out for a top speed run, i can guarentee your car will not pull 50mph, let alone 200mph

Yes, 200mph can be perfect acceptable on public roads in the right situation.

phil I seem to recall a post about you doing about 140mph in your car when you were experiencing turbo surge

It was a while ago, but the point is what difference does it make if your doing 140 mph or 200 mph on a public road ?

If someone steps out in front of you, at 140mph there dead, same thing happens at 200mph

if a car cuts you up at 140mph there dead, same thing at 200mph

so think you should get off your high horse and shut the fuck up

On a deserted M-Way in the dead of night 200mph is fine.

In safety concious Germany they agree its fine in the right conditions as its legal, and many of their Autobahns are only 2 lanes.

Its not like theres blind corners or people stepping into the road or out of side roads is there

Thanks Pal

To elaborate slightly, i knew Craigs car would be tricky due to the calibre of tuner whod been previously been baffled by it already so i told Gus i either: "Fix her within 2 weeks or you have her back for free.. no charge"
Because i refuse to be one of these tuners who has cars for months doin fook all with em. I was busy so i alloctaed myself 2wks max. lets face it, if you cant fix it within an allocated 2wks, you cant fix it eh guys?

Turned out its one of the best jobs ive ever had as ive met a few really good friends through it... cheers fellas.
