the specs on the red KRB Audi is 780'ish bhp.. proper car.. i don't have details on the car now but if you want to know i can dig up some info... or if someone else want to do that..

The silver S2 is a "super saloon" car if my memory doesn't play games with me.. and it usually do that...
i think it is a tubeframe car but i'm not 100% sure.. and the bhp is in the same area as the KRB car.. but the silver looked faster on track..
i'm not all that into Audis but these cars made me kinda like them..

you can't book tracktime (i think) but if you bring a proper car you'll get some tracktime... if not, then youre waaaaay back in the line...

The Silver Audi has about 765 hp and the KRB Audi has been dynoed at 830 something if im not mistaken.... but the thing about tha KRB Audi is the drivatrain... the engine is moved back almost half a meter... very trick Sellholm gearbox and diffs... sequential aswell.
It has done 10.03 on the quartermile so far without NOS... and has now installed NOS.... so a 9 is not far away

That movie will probably come out on dvd, and it will be on the english language so you guys can enjoy it fully if you want to buy it.

I know The man who owns The silver S2
It made 739bhp on the dynobench @ 2bar boost, he was boosting 2bar @ gatebil, he har a standard 6speed transmission from S6 i think and a 3plate clutch T66 innovative turbo, Autronic ecu, 2.5L diesel block with a vs motor ported 20V head, special VS cams++++++

The red KRB Quattro has a 2.2L block, 20V head, Innovative GT 72 with super compressor housing, Autronic SM2, CDI ign, it made 860bhp and almost 900Nm i think @ 2.5bar boost
The driveline is Sellholm 5speed sequential gearbox, ford motorsport 9" rear diff with Magnesium housing+++ the front diff is also "big"
He`s doing about 9-10 000 rpm on the 5 cylinder egine!!! NICE SOUND!!!

sorry to have to admit it, but those audi's completely change your perception of speed. absolutely awesome things.

when i post up a video of the silver one caning down the straight, you will see what i mean. he's got a side exit pipe that is blasting the water off the track like a bloody jet engine. and you can see that he only covers a few meters in between the gearchange and coming on boost again so there is absolutely no lag on these huge turbo'ed monsters

i'm waiting for the next meeting dates to be posted, and then i'll be booking up. i have never been to such an awesome car meet, and that includes a lot of trackdays, events, nurburgring etc. and that was in the pissing rain all day that soaked all of my clothes right through, but theevent was so good that i really didn't care.

i'm just converting some dv footage now, and will pick up my photos from my 35mm camera this evening so will aim to post up a full report on an excellent weekend in norway towards the end of the week.

I remember pming to you about the gatebil events, and its nice to se that you acctually came to us.. So what did you think of Norway?? did you se some nice chicks? did you like the cars?

norway was nice. the scenery that we saw around the oslofjord and to the north up to lillehammer was not really as spectacular as i expected. i guess we need to go to the west around bergen for that?

the other kind of scenery, the girls, was amazing. the standard was very good. there was a girl working in mcdonalds in Larvik that would have been a model if she was in england

not many girls at the gatebil meet on saturday, because of the shit weather. got some nice pics of the 3 birds in the gatebil tent though.

damn i wish that we had gone on sunday as well after seeing the other posts. next time, i won't go with my girlfriend and my mum so there'll be no need for wasting time sightseeing.

will definitely come next year for the summer meet and camp at rudskogen. hope to see you there. man, some of those old volvo's are soooo cool. you guys are mental.

if there are any other good events or trackdays planned for next year, please let me know and maybe we'll bring over some cars next time

Really depends.. Gardermoen and Torp are actually about the same distance from Rudskogen.. if you take a ferry from Horten if you arrive at Torp.. approx 100km..

If you are going to Gatebil when it is at Vaaler then Gardermoen is the closest..

The thing is that Vaaler have these stupid noiseregulations and Rudskogen haven't... yet..
but i was at Vaaler in May and all the big cars, the ones running atleast, were running flat out with max db.. so they probably have made an exception for Gatebil..

Vaaler is a much bigger and better track with better pitarea and sooo much more space.. the track itself is not as entertaining as Rudskogen thou.. too much straights with chicanes..

Gatebil at Vaaler is probably in the middle of May, with Rudskogen in the middle of july and sept.. that's how they normally do it...

you are right about the silver Audi.. properly quick.. is was quite amazed myself.. i'm not sure but it was said that it was a "super saloon" car with no saloon to drive in.. didn't fit regulations or something.. anywho...

but one car that were soo much quicker on sunday was the VS BMW M5.. that car is just insanely quick..

and you should have been there for the drifting contest.. and the burnout show at the end.. but now you have learnt your lesson..

There will be a lot of trackdays next year but few, if none, as big as Gatebil... there was a Ford trackday in aug? that was pretty good.. a little girlish driving thou.. and they were only permitted to drive past on the long straight...

But you will probably get more info next year... you're welcome either way..

if you want nice and spectacular nature you have to either go to north norway or the westcoast..
so next year you can send your mom and girl on a trip to either of these places while you are at Gatebil...

driving from goteborg is probably ok.. except you better avoid the highway... it good and straight and 110 km/h limit but fook it's boring..
think there is a road on the coast from goteborg up to Stromstad that's supposed to be nice with nice scenery..
think it's the old highway but i'm really not sure...

or you can take your car with the ferry from Kiel to Larvik (i think) and then you'll get some tracktime too..

i just watched the DVD of 'Gatebil 2003' that i picked up at the show. really entertaining even though i didn't understand a word. wanna order the 'gatebil 2004' dvd when it's on sale, all i can say is i do now understand what breisladd means!!
gotta get some practice in.
