Report from Gatebil Norway today!! With MOVIES!!!!
Today Sunday was the only day that it did`nt rain
roughly about 5000-6000 persons inside the gates
NICE weather!
So the funny part..
The WRC ESCCOS driving like mad!! he does the "skandinavian flick" on tarmac, and he`s the official norweigian champ on drifting.. You have never seen so much smoke from all four tyres on a 4wd car, i promise!!
And VS motor`s insane BMW M5 who dynoed 1033bhp & 1090Nm He has now got the new TREMEC gearbox, and the car loses traction on 1,2,3,4,and 5 gear The smoke are just pounding out of the wheelcases in speeds a lot over 100mph.. This is the most insane car i`ve ever seen on norweigian trackdays!!
I will surely be back with links to you guys when there are some movies from today..

yes, it was a pretty good day (sunday)
i arrived just when they started with "all star racing".. all the big norwegian and swedish cars (ok, only Dahlback but ok)
i can mention the WRC escos, the RS 500, BMW M5, a bunch of Audis and then alot of cars i probably forgot as i got so excited and wet myself..
it started out really crazy with all these cars running at top speed, and thats a lot of speed, but quite a few broke down so in the end there was about half the cars that started that still raced.. but really cool to watch..
not much vids yet but i guarantee there will be as there are some peeps that are crazy about making good videos from trackdays, and i gotta love that..

just a little taste of Gatebil...
here are a few pics of Hafsengen drifting the WRC to victory in "breisladden".. trust me, you will understand and appreciate the meaning of the word "breisladd" after this..
and notice that he is driving with one arm out of the window...
you really missed out on something really cool on Nat Day...

am just at the airport waiting to come home.
gatebil was awesome, went on saturday. weather was shit, but drifting was wicked.
will report back with some photo's and movies in a day or two.
will definitely be coming back next summer

they brought all the big bhp cars on track just when i arrived and had some mental racing... it is sooo cool when most of the cars on the track have from approx 500 bhp and up to 1000...
and the driftfinale was pretty cool.. i went home before they had a big burnoutshow where everyone wanted to kill their tyres... you'll see when someone makes a movie of it...

I just got back 30 minutes ago. it was the most awesome event i have been to. cannot wait to go back next summer.
do you have any power figures for the red KRB tuning quattro and the silver audi with the side exit exhaust . the drifting skills are far better than in this country. yes that blue escossie was looking good when it went out on saturday.
