Default Hate MoT day

Dropped Mondeo off for its MoT 9am just awaiting that dreaded phone call now

Not confident AT ALL will be going straight to the scrapper if it fails on anything major...what ya want for £70

Alloys werent on it when I bought it I took them off my old MK2 Mondeo TD which id blown the engine on as this had no wheel trims & knackered tyres when I got it

Its an A to B and at 50 mpg you cant complain.

Thats the way I see it Dan ... if it gets banged, doesnt matter, if it majorly fooks up in 6 months time, I can scrap it and ive got my moneys worth etc....

2 previous keepers on Log Book too but all same bloke, company car & then his own private car so its got a fair whack of history with it too ... I wasnt grumbling at the price (got it at auction, charges on top took it to £102, so still not expensive

hope they checked the brake pipes above the fuel tank.... on EVERY mondeo MK1 and 2 the pipes corrode around 2 brackets above the tank, the first you know is mot time or brake fluid dripping off the tank!

glad it passed btw

if you need any spares I have loads here and i'm just down the road

The Mk3 mondeos are exactly the same mate and have failed a few of them for corroded brake pipes above and alongside the fuel tank
