the seal round the pollen filter
who was the last place to service is ?
pop into ford and ask for some butyl tape, thats to seal the suround where the pollen filter goes
usually the connect has a plastic mesh fitted when new and then if you feel you need one they fit a pollen filter
as the connect is actually a focus front end and all fittings its gonna get the same shitty problems wanky garages dont know about
PS: you also need a new pollen filter too

1316193 finnis number for the seal!
how sad is that![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
That said pollen filter on the connect is on the passengers side and he's complaining of drivers side footwell, what i've seen on a connect is theres a pannel seam near the top seatbelt achorage, water cam come in through this seam then drip onto the rear drivers footwell which will eventually come through to the front.
