whatever you do, dont drive down any single track lanes, then go through a gate and shut the gate behind you only to realise there is a train coming, then decide to sue the satnav company because you didnt know you were on a train track

some people wont have a clue what im on about

I got SAT nav on my nokia N73.
I love it as you do not have to carry round millions of gadgets when you leave the car.

GARMIN 310 : No problems at all, nice to use, not as bulky as the TomTom's.

lol, where theres a retard theres blame

We got a NAVMAN and it has never let me down, never used TOM TOM though. The NAVMAN saved my life when I suddenly realised I had no petrol and didnt know where the garage was. They had already thought of this and put a button with a petrol pump on it, worked a treat

Tomtom has all that too mate, speed camera's, petrol station locations, shops, cash machines, hotels, banks, supermarkets, post offices, just about everything really.

Ive never really used any other type other than the tomtom's but i assume they'll all be very similar now. I think its all down to which layout you prefer nowadays.
