Well, im slightly bias cos i work for Volvo, but i think they are a pretty good car.

If youve seen my ''i was side swiped by an artic lorry'' thread, then youll see that they still have the good ole Volvo safety.

Depding on which engine you go for, depends on how much fun you have!

The T5 and D5 are crackin engines, although the you can still have a good amount of fun in the 2.4 petrol too.

0-60 in 6 seconds on the T5.... not bad for a volvo!

indycos - you can have any colour combination you want, as long as you have the 'sport' model. so you can have a white body with blue skirts if you want, or a red body with brown skirts etc etc etc

smitsturbo - the T5 starts from Ł21,495 on the road for the SE model

SE Sport From Ł22,995
SE Lux From Ł23,795

Nope ...... they are actually phasing out the 'R' range!

So the T5 manual is gonna be the best at the minute.

Top Speed - 149mph
0-60mph - 6.2 seconds
0-62mph - 6.7 seconds
fuels consumption:
urban - 22.6 mpg
Extra Urban - 43.5
Combined - 32.5

62 Litre fuel tank volume.

And you can have the option of Manual or Geartronic

VERY surprised that no one has commented that the C30 is the same
chassis platform as the new Ford Focus. (Also the new Mazda 3)

The Focus ST with the same T5 engine is quite a bit cheaper

Ford own volvo cars in case you have been on mars the last 5 years

So yes I know I drive a volvo with a Ford badge....

Ive got a demo here, EXACTLY the same as the one in the pics.....

D5, with Dynaudio, Comms Pack (sat nav and phone), winter pack, 6000 miles on the clock a few other bits for Ł25,995 k - would retail at nearly Ł30k

yeah ok the focus might be cheaper, but oes it have WHiPS, SIPS, Inflatable curtains, airbags in your seats? and many many other safety features that the volvo has?

Safety has a price on it ya know.... and when i got smacked by a lorry on wednesday, i know which one i would rather have been in!

i also seen a well smart audi today, went on the internet to see more than got shocked at the Ł40k odd price tag

a 2007 rs4 looks 10 times better than the last 1

It has airbags in the seats and SIPS.

As for curtains, they didnt stop you getting your car crunched

Maria, you have become a volvo oldie since selling the escos, I thought
you were much younger (you look it)

fuckin love it myself. was looking at one on the motorway the other day on the back of a transporter and nearly ran up someone's arse gorgeous car.

I used to love the 480 (i think thats the one, you know the one with the pop up lights) it was a great looking car. Looking at the shape of the C30 it reminds me of it so much. Bastard thing could have come out last year though, twat! I had my pick of company cars last year and could have had one!!!
