Which way to face ?, unless the spiral on the grooved ones is handed one is always going to be "right" and one is always going to be "wrong"!!!
Answer there is no correct way it makes no difference, but if inner cooling vanes are curved they are then handed.

Groove forward edge is at the bottom, then as the disc rotates the groove moves out to the edge.

As per the pic if it is left side of the car. Each disc is the opposite of the other.

Disks are handed left and right, but as mentioned before whether the grooves spiral out to the edge or come in to the centre depends on the individual disc design.

Just noticed: you've also done the stud conversion?
The studs don't stick out very far or is the disc not fully fitted?

As said depends on manufacturer, also depends on number of grooves on disc. Always best to check with manufacturer.

the pic i have shown is only to show what a disc looks like inside, some discs come with the vanes the same direction as the grooves. the only way in my eyes is to see what way the vanes go.

Aah..now I get it. I thought you had an escort rs (which has bolts for the wheels) whereas you obviously have a fiesta rs which has nuts.
That's why I thought it was a stud conversion as the threaded part is sticking through the disc, making me think you'd converted..didn't realise you had a fiesta.
