only a T3 on a 3 door unless its an RS 500 then its a T4 - If its a retro fit T34 then the housing will need rotating from a 2wd manifold fit to 4x4 fit .

the T34 on the 3door came off of an esccos in the 1st place so you'll be fine

no mate, fucking clowns offering silly money for a brand new turbo , i will use it as a paperweight I think

Shouldn't need to swap any bits mate, just loosen off the bolts on the housings and rotate them till they line up with 4x4 manifold - or stick a 2wd manifold on the car

compressor housing will need rotating if a 4wd manifold wasnt used on the 3door cossie.

other than that, and the actuator moving to its original mounting point, nothing will be needed.

Will, he'd need to get a bailey motorsport type turbo damper as well then, and as hes trying to do it cheap, it'd be an unnecessary expense.

arent the hoses a different size? (im not sure)

you might need to fettle the thing, but it's about as straightforward as cossie jobs go

Air filter hose is a different size, but the turbo to intercooler hose is the same as a T3. (2.5" iirc)

the inside diameter on the outlet on the T34 is larger though.

No, as the 4wd head doesnt have the mounting area for a 2wd turbo damper.

4x4 manifold is fine for your power, don't bother.... don't need a damper either

i'll need a T34 size air filter hose then as its bigger than the T3 one

what about when buying an intercooler? noticed you can get them with 2 different sized outlets which one do it need? the smaller one out of the 2?

Small one will be fine for turbo to intercooler.

I did the same as you, T3 to T34 and still used my old turbo to intercooler hose.

Yea you will need an Escort Cosworth Air Filter hose - should find one cheap on eBay or something. its 70mm. Oh, and a Escort Cosworth sized cone air filter or air box lid.

think i've already got the escos sized air filter, bought it off ebay for cossie

wouldn't fit in the fecking hose when i got it, had tio use a lot of force n a hot air gun! finally jammed the fooker in

with the cooler do i need to buy one of a 4x4 or are the 3dr n RWD RS500 coolers the same fitment?

You need an RS500 cooler that has T3 inlet and standard 60mm outlet.

I dont think anyone does one for a 4wd specifically, so you will be ok getting a rwd one. Dont get an Escort Cosworth one and dont get one with the RS500 sized inlet / outlets.
