I have been seriously thinking over the last 12 months of buying one

I just wondered if anyone knows where to find such a thing ,,ie websites etc

I know Martin johnson has 3 for sale but they are a little above my budget so just thought it was worth a try to try to find one that needs a resto etc a little cheaper

I know they dont turn up oftern but worth a post on here

He did have a lower spec one built up from left over bits for around 20k

i remember when they came up for sale, Martin bought his and the 600 bhp one went to New Zealand then about 12 months ago or so Martin then bought it and brought it back - thats the wide body one he has now as well

That advert is years old.

the 2 cars were the one Martin bought and now has for sale - the other was its sister car which was converted to a Thundersaloon in the 90s - it sold at a similar time and went to New Zealand.

about a year ago Martin bought the thundersaloon one from the New Zealand owner and brought it back to the UK - so he now owns them both

Just looked at the times they go round some UK circuits.

Will put a 600bhp car to shame round most circuits.

Well the guy I know with one says it makes his 500hp saph look slow in places.

I would presume his is a 1999 car then if its Rapid Fit colour scheme

Turning circle of a super stretched limo though, helped push it once and it took 10 attempts to swtich it from one parking bay to the next

yes they do, there was a ETC primera at brands at the weekend, amazing spec'd car, the bloke was only driving the car at like 70% but still going round in 54's @ brands.

So deffo a 50 second car with the right driver, which is the same as was rod birley goes round in his 550 bhp escort.

radders, ironically this weekend at brands i've been introduced to a fellow racer who owns a engineering firm and is keen to help out, so im going to see what he can do, going there tommorrow.
