took me 20mins to get back in and wiped out two of my long replys

its been wiping my replies out all bloody day long and having mega difficulty trying to get on the damn forum

 

Use notepad to compose replies, once bitten and all that

 

after you have typed a long reply press ctrl+a and then ctrl+c. If Pf throws yet another wobbly then you can just paste your copied tetx back in the box

 

must admit its starting to get really annoying.

never bothered me a great deal in the past but its getting stupid lately, posts getting wiped out, site crashing on me every 10 minutes or at best taking about 5 minutes to open pages.

Can something not be done about this, especially as alot of people contribute to the help of this site and dont complain over the annual membership costs etc

 

main reason i wont pay to use the site, it annoys the hell outta me when im trying to do something and it crashes

It thought the £20 gold membership fees were used to make this site work correctly and speedily. Seems a shame as its the only website i contribute to and it gives the most bother.

if it fucks up, you can just paste your text. You'll get to use all of the code buttons etc. then too

I was brought up in the early days of programming and DOS text editors.
Old habits die hard. But then I am quite old and set in my ways

 

sounds like the server is overloading!! time for passionford to upgrade to a better server.

 

I've not been on it much today, but it did give me jip earlier a couple times....

But I highlight and copy (CTRL+A and CTRL+C) all my replies to be on the safe side - have done for a year or so
