Dvd recorder issues
just set up my parents LITEON dvd recorder and it records/playback fine but when recording it seems to stop recording after the tv is turned off 
is it to do with what cables ive used and how ive connected it up? The tv is connected to a freeview box via scart, then another scart from the free view box into the dvd recorder then another scart from tv to dvd recorder
