I think you're prob around the ball park figure....

I think Tiffs mates one is/was around the 8k mark but it is a PROPER bit of kit.
Mk2 RWD Proper ex rallycross car fully rebuilt, all proper linked rear end with a proper diff. AP's all round, full cage, fully re wired, full engine build NMS live mapped.. alloys etc etc etc....

It really does depend on how the conversion has been carried out, by who and what exactly the spec is. Converted cars are always interesting BUT I've been to see a few as I wanted a MK3/4 escort RWD and most are SHIT!!!!!! and the good ones way way over priced IMHO.

You could buy a proper cossie and know that getting the bits to replace some thing that breaks is easy... on converted cars so much of it is bespoke 1 off bodge work.

If the price is right it will be a good buy- You need to factor into it the fact that you've got to remove ALL the crap and make it look somet half decent so the price needs to reflect that..... but seriously it is NO WAY near 433 bhp- it doesn't have the spec for a start- last time I looked under the bonnet it had greens and a T34... and it was 433BHP then- which is why I knew you were talking about that car.

I've heard all the rumours about him being scared of it as well.. blah blah blah...

If you want a project and you want a good one- there is a MK4 fiesta for sale on here have a look in the resto section- Paul Dowts ( I think ) his car is a PROPER car and needs putting together rather that completely rebuilding it.

Well as far as I can remember it was 433 before with all that on it.

6k and I think it would be ok... I would prob give it a good going over but at 6 I think its about right.

To someone who likes bodykits and doesn't know what they're on with 8k is ok too.

You could prob sell the body kit and polished shit (cage) you dont need and get a couple of hundred quid off it.

I think it has nitrous on it too???? get rid of that as well- get a couple hundred quid for that too.

Then take it to a body shop, some RST bumpers/skirts etc, cheap re spray, sensible set of nice wheels and then batter the fuck out of it.

BUT as I say- it depends what sort of a conversion it is.

lmfao, I know the car, and really hate it, lol! If your buing a car like that I dont think you should skimp on a cheep re-spray really imo.

If it was me a £500 respray would do the job.. as long as it looked ok- The car would get the arse kicked out of it everytime I drove it- so would be gutted if my £2000 respray got stone chipped to fuck.
