Default ring trippers

did anyone get insured for it?

i don't mean you assumed your insurance would cover it, did anyone buy or get a quote for third party cover at the 'ring?

and if so, who from?

i can get MY car covered for about £100 for the day, 10% excess, and my cred card will soak up any barrier costs at a push, but what if i hit a £75k porsche?

i know the possibility is remote, but it happens. it doesn't even have to be me trying to hard!

you answered your question in your own statement mate.

if you hit a 75k porsche then thats what the insurance is for - pay the £100 if it eases your mind!

i highlighted MY car, because the insurance is for MY car only

they don't do third party, as the policy is for racing, and as such everyone pays for their own repairs (or their insurance does)

so, if i crash in to something/someone, i'm buggered. if it's just barriers i could blitz the credit cards and manage that, but a personal injury claim could be millions!

loads of you have been, wonderedif any of you checked this out?

and it doesn't say anything about "one way de-restricted toll roads" or "roads that have been used as race tracks" or "normal driving" ???

will they give it to me in writing?
