just curious about this, is it just a piece of 3" stainless pipe you need or is there a bend in it etc ?

does it make a lot of difference to noise levels ? anyone done it ?

im having mine removed aswell, as i always catch it on speed bumps

far as what i can see its juts a straught bit just after the end of the box is the first curve

then you need the bracing welding back on as this oes to the centre box

i dont care about the noise but they do sound loud and nicer i think

you can always turn the stereo up

mines gone,and yes it does clear the humps.it does sound louder but you do lose torque through doing it.but probaly gain a few bhp.it is just a straight bit of pipe,mine has no braces though.

Mine(scorpion) has no bends and no supports here either.
I heard a escort(rst) with a scorpion that has the box out bloody loud it was.
Am doing mine too.

i did this to the twin turbo and the pick up was miles better
there was more sound but not as much as you'd think, and yes, 3 inch pipe as the system i had was only 2 1/2 inches through the box
