i went a brought an inferno mp5 1/8 scale car by kyosho (400) second hand, a brand new rossie gold top engine ( 3.5cc with ceramic piston n liner).
in the jap video i got with the engine(with was itallian) they combined to 2 and got 0-62 in 2 seconds! i times mine at 93mph top speed and it got there in 3.3 seconds!
fecking quick if u ask me for a 4kg moter!
i never got to race it as i thought i would "tune it a bit" leaned it out and blew the piston out the top of the head! funny as fuck but v expensive.
those figures were on 10% fuel.
i did get a 1/5 scale moter with a porka shell, complet with 2stroke strimer style engine and that was rapid as they get... smashed it up the second day i had it though
does anyone race them locally for fun? wouldnt mind going n getting another 1/8 scale. i never had any joy with the 1/10 elec models! pama cyclones 4x10 turn moters dont mix with tamya hornets lol

I used to be into them in a big way, i owned a Yokomo Dogfighter, then i had the Yokomo YZ10 worlds, (best car ever made) Losi XX4 Worlds Edition, also had the Predator P8, and i had the Associated TC3, and the TC3 Factory Team, and all of the rest of expensive gear that went with the hobbie.
