Someone keeps trying to steal mates Mondeo 2.2 TDCi
My mate at work seems to have his car marked as the other week he had the grill removed and ford badge removed with the bonnet lifted slightly.
Also, they had cut a hole in the rear qtr panel the opposite side to the filler cap about the size of a cig packet.
The car horn had been disconnected so assume they knew what they were doing.
Last night both headlights were stolen so this could be same people but unsure.
I've suggested a Disk Lock but anyone got any ideas how to stop this getting taken.
Thanks

sounds like they fucked it mate, cutting a hole in the rear quarter!
if they were propper car theives they would have took the car the first time round, without chopping it up...
sounds odd to cut a hole in the car to nick it, as no one is gonna but it...
you sure its not some jealous neighbor?

it will be deadlocked so no chance of popping open one of the locks inside, they aren't door pins anyway. Maybe they are trying to access the cars electrics to open the boot, i know that by energising some wires on the mk1 focus the boot will pop open, this can be done very easily with only a screwdriver to get at the wiring needed
