Default What do I need to make a........

FLAMER KIT

I just want one for the comedy factor of torching the front bumper of all these little chavvers in their corsas when they up close and personal at the lights

I don't want to go spending £100 on one, as i have a spare coil, plug, plug lead etc etc. Just need to know what kind of wiring/relays I need from my local motorfactor.

Cheers guys

You just need a switch to supply the lead and the plug with current for the spark.

You will of course have to drill a hole in your exhaust and weld a nut to it for the plug to screw into.

But I got told you need some sort of relay, to flick the plug on and off lots of times per second otherwise it just ignights the plug once

you need t make a control box up to keep the coil sparking the plug

as if you just put a live and earth to the coil it will only fire once

i still have my flamer kit somewhere

dont know if im going to use it or not yet, but did have a lot of fun with it on my last one

Rainbowbum, what's the score here duder??

And reading that ebay add, it says not to loop it into the ign system?? Surely you would have to relay it to cut the coil in the engine bay and therefore feed unburnt fuel into the exhaust system?

So if I wanted to cut the ignition to get some serious 6ft flames, I would have to relay the positive feeds to both coils?

Your gonna easily out chav the chavs by the sound of it.

Time to fit a butane gas flamer kit by sounds of it

If you need to MAKE your car flame by increasing fuel or removing ignition, its total gayness.

Using a flamer to ignite any natural unburnt fuel (as long as u dont tell anyone ) is fair enough, better than black smoke.

But making it happen like your mentioning is just bent.

sod cutting the igniton that can cause problems may aswell rev it up and turn the ignition on on/off quick

go for what starvos said and have a butane gas canister in your boot and do it that way, some nice blue flames then

with the flamer it it burns as said the unburnt fuel in the exhaust yes it can be gay but it looks better than black smoke plus its while your moving aswelll or changing gears

none of this stood stil crap with butane or revving the fuk out the engine t=just to get flames at cruises

The flamer modules are £40 inc delivery and you get the module, wiring instructions and a washer to hold the spark plug in place .
