Default Want a change of career but dunno what!?!

I have been a vehicle technician for nearly 10 years now and I need a change, I have just seperated from my wife of 1 1/2 years, but been with her for 10 years previous to getting married, and I want / need a change but I really don't know what to do, I am willing to learn new things as I am intelligent and I am only 27, I need to get out of the motor trade and earn some proper money and better myself, any ideas???

Companies such as Kone and Otis are looking always looking out for lift engineers and escalator engineers.
Paywise.....22-26k for a basic fiiter
I went from the motor trade into that then packed it in as i found it unbeliveably boring and i'm now considering going back into the motor trade
Seems to be a fair bit of lorry driving jobs going aswell

Wessex Trains (who dont exist anymore, but hey) was about 30k+ after training IIRC, but only about 11k for the 1st year as it training only.

EWS and big express trains and shit pays more IIRC.

And its officially the easiest job on the world Well, once you trained.

Honest to god, they asked me if i was ok with spending 4 out of the 8 hour shift waiting around for the next train to drive, just sitting around watching the TV and reading mags and shit

Yeah, id really hate 30k+ a year doing that

I think that our training rate starts at 15k, going upto about 18k part way through your training (after passing a few exams)

Im on more than 30k

Sales mate. I've just got into sales and love it. Plus its a job for life - companies always need sales staff. Can also eaasily move to estate agency or recruitment -big cash in both. (that's my plan anyway.)
