Hi guys,

April’s copy of Max power magazine (I know it’s shockingly crap) had a feature on RS turbo’s.

It featured a Red series 2 with 7 spoke diamond cut RS alloys and a mint series 1. I remember the owner of both these cars posting on the PF forum.

Does anyone know who this member is / how to contact them?

OMG, what the HELL has happened to Max Power - it is borderline respectable! No birds to be seen - or at least very few - decent cars, RST's MR2's Porker's.... I was shocked - lets hope it carries on like this.

No its all been redone, editor has been on a few forums months ago asking for input, and seems to have been taken on board

 

has anyone actually read it tho? its bizzare as anything and written by folk who clearly know owt about cars, so you dont learn anything.
they sacked the only ones with any real knowlege of cars...

They had an almost total re-staffing.
Inc the editor who, IIRC, previous to this mag, had absolutley no experience of the car scene in his life Deffo reads like it.

Person I had in mind was Neil Hunt, who, though its never really shown as they always dumb the mag down for the younger readers, really knows his shit with regard to cars and tuning.

Did he always run Revs mag then ? upto last year I owned their project Escort, the orange Mk2 they did it 1996.

Despite having a shed load of money thrown at it there was some serious issues with that shell before they even started

 

He was just one of the writers I think. God knows. He does know cars tho.

 

Dealt with him a few times at the Revs Fiesta thrash and their 0-60 and ¼mile do's. Nice guy and seemed well clued up

 

The thrash they had at Alconbury was a good one, shame they stopped using it
