Default air/fuel meter s2 rs??

I was told today that i wont need to get the fuelling setup on the turbo because of the flap they are self adjusting. How much truth is in this. Thanks

Is true.

As long as the engine:

1) Works 100% as it did at the factory.

2) Is 100% Standard in every way.

If either 1 or 2 is deviated from even slightly, including such seemingly unrelated things as leaking rocker covers, oil filler caps or dipstick seals, not to mention major changes like more boost, it will now be fuelling wrong and be totally out of range of its self metering capability.

Ta Stu. so in actual fact if the fuelling was only a small smudge of being 100% it would be ok on the pistons as it would adjust???

thnks

It can adjust for airflow differences in certain situations providing it is still a completely and utterly 100% working perfectly STANDARD engine. If you read my reply again you may notice its a tad tongue in cheek.

I guess you need to explain what your hoping it will adjust for to take this discussion any further. I hope its not the extra 0.5 litres in your siggy.
