Had a ad phone me earlier in the week wanting to view the car yesterday, however i was in dundee working and explained i wouldnt be home but if he wanted to look at it i could get someone to how him round it. So anyway i had an accident at work friday and came home yesterday so i phoned him to see if he was still interested, he said he was and that he would come view it today so i though to myself ye coarse you will.

Anyhow its now rocking on and no phone call, i think i might drop him a tet simply saying where the fuck are you, i feel like just giving the fucker away or scrapping it to save the fucking hassle

It happens when selling any car really. I cant understand why they dont at least ring to let you know they cant make it or have bought another, or just cant be arsed etc etc. Just make sure that you make it clear that your putting yourself out for them to come and view the car and if they wont make it to let you know asap. I always say something along those lines and it seems to help. I get the impression you want the car gone as soon as now (although that may not be the case) and thats the last thing you want potential buyers to know mate.

I dont want the car gone yesterday, however it would be nice to have it gone sooner rather than later tbh. The thing thats pissing me off is its decent car at what i think is a realistic price, in the past i aint ever had any hassle with bellends but its constant emails and phone calls of complete twats with the escort. And another 1 of my pet hates is "please phone me on" no you fucking phone me you scruffy cunts

Best thing to do when selling a car is just assume that they wont turn up, then if they do its a bonus.

Where have you got it up for sale out of interest? Just here, rsoc and pistonheads is it? Stick it on autotrader if its not on there already mate.

From my experience with Cosworths over the last 18 years - try to sell a complete one and all you get is dreamers - they will never own one as long as they have a hole in their arse - they just think they will

But when you break one its the complete opposite, as you are then dealing with actual owners who genuinly need spare parts and are glad to find decent bits.

I have met some really nice people over the last year or two when they come to pick up there bits and others have sent hundreds of pounds just on trust that the parts will be sent.
