Transit payload

Does any one know what the payoad is of a Y reg (newer shape) SWB 280 Transit? Only asking because my Dad might be buying one and he keeps getting told different weights by different people at Ford! Cheers.

Look on the ford website. The new t280 will be roughly the same payload as a y reg van. the last time i checked you could view details of the old model as well.

These are based on the van being a 2 litre FWD with low roof. It makes a difference, so if you know the exact spec let me know.
