I have a 350D and I've got a 28-200mm canon lens which takes some really nice shots. It's only drawback is that it's bulky and heavy. I haven't used my camera for a while but now it's show season again I'm sure it will be coming back out again soon

Thanks Drew & rauri
I've got the Canon400D Claire & I've got a new Sigma 70 - 300mm Lens. Like you say again its big & bulky but you can just go so much further with them No good for close up shots though but a very good lens all the same for those distance shots. I was sitting right up in the far corner near the Performance Ford stand on the seating area & you can zoom right into people who were in the barn as close to see how many dimples or wrinkles they had
I have more, just cant be arsed to resize over 250 pic's so just picked a few out lol

That's why I went for the 28-200mm lens as I thought it would still be OK for normal photos and then still be able to get distance also.
It was great when we were on honeymoon in America last year. We got some amazing photos of the Hollywood sign and we were really far away from it. I might have to invest in another lens soon though. After I've finished chucking my money at the pug
