Kasabian are just reading the "Oasis guide to rock and roll" handbook too much for my liking, instead of doing their own thing, own style they're just re-doing whats been before.

I find the monkeys a bit too comedic, good songwriting none the less.

Trouble is these days theres too many people wanting to be part of something big, like what the Beatles/Stones/Led Zep/Oasis all had during their peak, this creates WAY to much hype over new bands, they dont come through and get big on popularity/record sales like they used to, its all thrown in your face "you simply MUST buy xxxxx album, they are the next big thing, everyonewill love em" etc etc.......

Radio 1 are the biggest culprits for this, Kudos to Zane Lowe and other DJ's on some decent stations for playing artists that dont get on this whole hype bandwagon, and are genuinely in it to make good music.

I blame the internet.
