I just wondered if anybody had purchased alloy wheels from this company and has had similar issues.
Basically, we bought a set of Spirit 7x17 Gunmetal alloys at Trax last year for the girlfriends Fiesta.
Now, 7 months on, all the lacquer is peeling and Midland Wheels initial diagnosis is that it must be stone chips that have penetrated the lacquer. To me this sounds rediculous as the wheels are 7 months old have have covered less than 6,000 miles. The original alloys from ford were on the car 3 years, were curbed to f**k and had coverered over 25,000 miles but had no similar marks or peeling. All 4 wheels are in similar condition and have al least 15-20 similar peeling marks. Surely they can't all be stone chips?????
See pictures below and any advice is greatly appreciated.

Also, there's no way the company will tell me if anybody else had reported similar problems, so I thought I'd do some investigating myself!!
