Got a 7500 word report due in this week, all done and dusted however...

I need to number the first couple of sections in roman numerals, and the rest in standard numbers.

How can i do it? Whenever i add a footer with page numbers, it automatically adjusts the whole document.

You mean the contents/abstract etc in roman numerals etc, and the main body in normal numerals i take it?

I use Word 2007 which makes it very easy, i no longer have 2003 installed so can't remember if that can do it.

 

If its only 7500 words then just do it manually in header and footer.
