No Compression - No Damage! WTF NOW! CRY - Pics Added
Righjt quick sum up,
Head gasket went,
Had head skimmed and new gasket, rebuilt seemed a little fluffy, compression test showed only 3 bar on one.
Head off no sign of physical damage to be honest no explanantion.
Are new blocks available or can you get them refaced at all.
Goonna start from scratch or try and find a recon engine from some where.

Right this is the second Head gasket she has had. Must be a block issue. HEad been checked when was skimmed.
I know fact, that a) the head was put on correctly b) Cam timing was 100%
Any one have any contacts for recondioned Turbo CVH lumps?
No mate. Was hoping to see a bent or damaged valve woould explain No compression.

9 PSI on 2,3&4
Tought the same, but all ok every time on the other cylinders. Even tried anoter tested.
Weird though cos tried a few times in case my head was playing tricks and was reading 0. Now even one of my farts would cause at least 1 PSI so I was thinking head off and there would be a problem staring me right in the face.

Would that really loose all Compression though?
Also if the rings were shot would she not smoke like Dot Cotton?
Nothing visual on the Head sagket either.
Would the face of the block be shot?

have u actually ran the engine? does it run? maybe a poor seal on the compression tester on one of the plug holes...just a thought

Take some bigger piccies focused around the cylinder you are having problems with mate.
cylinder number 3's valves look different to the rest..
looks like damage near the no.3 exhaust valve or is it just my vision
