Default Saff Cos Resto

Fellas,

I plan to do a slight restoration on my saff to make it mint once again, and wanted to know what sort of money I'm looking at and best methods for dealing with the following areas;

Restoring the underside of the car i.e. slight surface rust etc, what's the best way to do it i.e. strip underseal and hammerite or strip off underseal and get sprayed to match the body and then protective coating etc.

Chassis rails similar procedure plus any welding that may be needed ?

Inner wings - I havn't seen them but would of thought that after 15 years they probably could do with replacin, so hat sort of price would I be looking at to get the outers removed and the inners replaced etc.

As said I'm not after a full on concourse restoration, just smartning up some of the bits that have suffered over the years.

Cheers

Paul

Agreed mate, like I said I'm not looking for concourse and to be onest I couldn't e bothered to do a full on restoration with full re-spray etc...... nice if you can afford it

Just looking for a bit of tidying up here and there to prolong it's active life

Sounds fair enough to me just hope there's no unexpected holes developed in the floor pan

That's not bad, I was quoted around £70 a side not so long ago

So got the old man to fabricate me some, as he used to work in a machine shop
