Default Swaping the Cossie for an ST 24?

What are these like?

Would they all be thrashed by now?

Reliability?, Maintenance costs?, MPG?,

Thinking of it as a quick family car, good idea or not?

Cheers,

Dave

I bought the 24 cause i couldn't afford the 200 basically. I've only had it 2 days so couldn't really comment on reliability and maintenance(sp) but i can't remember my brother having any problems with it! Suppose some of them will of been thrashed, same with any performance car tho. Just try and find one that doesn't have 40 squillion miles on the clock!

Comparing them to a Cos is like chalk and cheese. Fast they are not, but more reliable and cheaper to run.

Never compared it to a cossie and when your used to driving a knackered RST then it is fast.

Yeah after thinking about it properly i couldn't see myself climbing in and out of the back of one all the time, especially as i'm 6'2"

Mondeo seems the better option, but i'm open to other ideas, what do you think?

EIL132, are you sure thats the ST 200? if you look at the length and widths they are completely different, I also thought it was only 200BHP hence the ST 200 name?!?!
