Default ofab engine loom

what needs connecting and to what to get the engine running???

ie live, switched live, neg, taco etc

any ideas what any of the wires on the loom are for??
need to start connecting the loom up in my mates mk3 escort that started life as a carb

a wiring diagram would be great if anyone has one and i should be able to work it out from there

the escort loom he will need to keep the thermostat switch.oil presure, temp sender wire but he should keep ALL the loom intact and then use the ofab loom as a sub loom

he also needs to do the pin swops like we did before too !

why will he need to do a pin swop?
he is using an ofab loom, with an ofab ecu, with an ofab engine.

the oil temp, pressure etc will just go straight onto the frst engine from his existing loom im guess.

he is convinced he needs to go back to the fuse board.
i've tried telling him he just needs to connect in the ofab loom but dunno if he got it.

pop round of email me the info and we'll get him up and running hopefully.

he was out there today looking for cables the same colour on his car as he has on the loom, but couldnt find any.

i know i dont have to go to the fuse board but iwas hoping some wires would match but no such luck, could i use s1 clocks? need to try and get it wired up 2mo and running to have any chance of taking central day, got to make other bracket up for brake caliper, more brackets on exhaust, fit rad (need one first) fit cooler and fans, change fuel tank and loom and run hoses and got feeling il have to change rear bushes as they'r perished
