If I flame throwed them I'd have no grass left 
They seem to eat the ant powder and grow stronger
Even put those little pyramids down and I think they moved in

Ant powder, looks shit and you'll think "this aint gonna fooking work" but I came home from work one morning a couple of years ago when the sun had just come up and the kitchen was warm, walked in and the floor was covered with em 
Hoovered em all up, found a few holes/cracks in skirting boards and floors, filled them all with powder and spray shit, went outside and found a nice big hole they were using as a walkway, totally blocked and filled it with powder, few days later there was a MASSIVE pile of half dead ants by the hole
Just kept sweeping them away and filling the hole with powder, job sorted
not a single ant since, I see a few on the yard so there must be a nest somewhere in the garden but they dont come near the house 
Quick short term solution is to fill the kettle, boil it and straight outside to the nest and empty then go mad with the powder
