Default ECU Experts, advice needed.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is on this babyboard

I was told it was to run greens 3 bar etc with the option to run 8 injectors?

The board doesnt have any manufacturer markings on either, like Pectel, Collins etc...

Any help is much appreciated

Hi,

It looks like a pectel board common use for stage 3,green 803's and control option of air and water injection. NOT SURE about the use of 8,injector maybe in the chip files.

Regards Dave R.

If it is an 8 injector setup Dave, then it should have another daughter board within the ecu with the drivers for the extra 4 injectors on it

surely there's a reason they've stuck 2 "8 INJ" stickers on it?

Very odd indeed.
It basically seems to have the 8inj decryption chips on a 4inj board. Pintless. The cost is in teh board, not the software.

Id say someone stickered it up like that for a giggle at some point as its useless without the hardware.

I bought it as a ECU with Pectel board and chip to run Greens 3 bar etc but it has the option to run 8 injectors with a sub loom

I will try it on my mates car at the weekend, see if it works

The 8 injector boards are very different to that Shorty.

As you can see. Now there MAY be some other way to do it, but if there is, ive never seen it.

Shorty,

I just found this one, the lid was marked in felt-tip "Pectel mod", so I opened it up - see the pics below, bottom pic is your one.
