Default CD Codes

I have tried everywhere to get the code for the CD player in my escort, it is a 2040 CD player Part # 93AB-19B160-AE Serial # 60571. supposedly is the serial should start with M or something, but it doesnt, and the best that the internet found was 210 3digits for a 4 digit code and ford could not find it at all, anyone care to take on this challenge?

That is not a valid serial number, it is too short. Should be on the label next to the part number.

No other labels there the only other thing there is some kind of engraving that has 00 infront of the same serial number on the metal, thats how i got the 210 code, but that doesnt seem to work :S

210 is what they gave me off the net, but when i go to put it in, its like it wants a 4th digit before it will accept, not had 9590 from anywhere though, i will try that at the weekend and let you know, but as for the M even the guy at ford said it should have started M------ but there isnt one there, how can i get to the circuit board? just a case of prizing it open?

If its a Sony it may need to go onto a code reader to work it back from the Hex codes, but have a look on the board for any numbers first.

You will have to work out how to get in, it shouldnt be too difficult
