If he can prove it does only cost them 2.50 and not the 38 they charged surely he has a good chance of winning?
Will be interesting to see what happens, thats for certain!

I'll be watching this like a vulture - Lloyds have raped me for at least a grand - usually because of being a quid over drawn!

Automated letters don't cost anything to produce - I should know, I write the reports that generate them at work! Once they've been written, job done! No further human intervention's needed as the system sends them if necessary on a schedule.

Besides, If I owe someone a fiver, I owe them a fiver, not a fiver AND 30 quid for the privilege.

A man is willing to go up againt Natwest when they have already offered him £4k and if he loses and they claim for costs he will be bankrupt. Shithot that bloke is.

He is trying to use it to make a name for himself blatantly.

The downside is that if he fucks up, a million or so people will all not get their grand or two back anymore!

They must be getting nervous. I got £3223 back today, asked for 4k, but settled for the offer. HBOS has paid up quick smart, which is unusual considering in Scotland the most you can go for is £750 in small claims and I didn't even have to threaten it. Happy days, glad now I misspent my youth, the RST was worth it
