Default for those who have destroyed a front diff...

in ref to the 4x4 cossie front diffs!

do you have any pics of your front diffs broken.

after as many pics as possible of the diff casing split, broken or even shattered so i can see where the major weak points are.

Cheers

As said by Jase, we will be using the front diff plates aswell.
but have been in contact with a company that can brace the front diff casing - just wanted a guide as to where the major weak points are before the case is handed over to them.

Sorry just realised it must be something to do with the otherside mounting close to the engine sump........

I am right in thinking its the exposed side which suffers? (sorry long time since i saw a built up engine/diff! ).

i think either my sump or the diff is fooked from the Dec 29th trackday.

i have not even looked at it yet to be sure which it is.

i have started a little bit on the stripdown of the car to fit the new gearbox and to see whats up with it.
