comp mo's on a 3 door
I have fitted a set to my 3 door ,there 17s. with 215/40/17 yoko parada tyres, the problem i have is the front drivers arch keeps catching the tyre and its now taken a few chunks out of it ,so before it catches and goes pop what is the best size tyre to go for on the front???? The back end is fine!!! I have found yokohama paradas for sale 205/40/17s for £129 pair, will these be ok ?????????????????

215/40/17 will catch the arch if you have soft or worn suspension, my 3 dr was the same. I poly bushed the front end which made a lot of difference it didn't rub so much, when i fitted Koni's it was almost cured apart from when i started doing trackdays it chewed the tyres up as they started catching on the arches & front bumper more so,trimmed it right back but in the end fitted coilovers.
I'm sure koni's will do the job with a small trim on the arch & check the front bumper as thats where mine used to rub the most.

i have MOs et 38 8x17 and 215 40 17 toyo TS-1R front... uprated std height springs & koni's...poly bushes.....
rear 235 40 17 and trimmed. lowered 20 mm and no issues....
and it catches cut back front arches...
not much... only if i hit a speed bump slightly to quick or very hard cornering.... seems to be drivers side only... i must be a fat fucker
so...
205 40 17 or 215 35 17 to cure?
