Anyone know anything about old planes? (spitfire)
My old dear has a domed perpex cockpit screen door in her garden (had it since I can ever remember) and they use it for keeping the frost of there plants
Is it worth anything? will upload pics later
It's the bit that pushes back not the best pic (check out the old dude )

Old dude!, that my good man is non other than Alex Henshaw who passed away a few months ago. He was chief test pilot for Supermarine, based mainly at Castle Bromwich. He is reckoned to have flown 2360 spitfires during six years of WW2 (1 in 10 that were made).
Where are the pics of the perspex?

Contact DUXFORD, private collectors will pay top money for these, for STATIC DISPLAY, as unlikely to be allowed to be used now due to age.

Rich,
trust me them old scrap looking pieces of metal are usually worth ALOT of money
he has alot to do with rolls royce in restoring them and i sold a few bits for him on ebay a while back. some russian spitfire wreckage recovered from the sea off the coast of folkstone and it went for Ł100's
i sold a clock from a spitfire that went for Ł200
he has a brand new canopy in original factory packaging!
wheels,U/C parts, wings, fuse and all the control panel parts!
he just uses the mashalls and babcocks boys, but ive told them what his tricks are and its out of order doing what he does.
hes always hassling me to help him but i wont help him anymore
