Well pleased with my final times of the weekend, but i will put my own topic up later. Car was great, no dramas or breakdowns in 37 laps.
11:20 was his best lap at over 22mph, whilist using no more than 10% throttle and half revs and only lightly touching the brakes twice.
He was doing 9:18 when he tried a bit, but he was referring to our "perfect line but no effort" laps with these times mate.
Glad you got home with no drama Stu, throoughly enjoyed my laps out with you, thanks

10K+ Poster!!
Knowing the lines (the white spots and changes in tarmac) make one hell of a difference.
When we went I think I got down to a 9.11 in the nova and scared the death out of myself.
I then done a few laps alongside a pro who has done 1000's of laps and he showed me everything, although trying to remember all that wasn't easy.
My next lap was a 8.55 and as my passenger admitted it was the smoothest lap he had been in a car round the ring, knowing when to brake and the right lines to carry plenty of speed through certain sections makes all the difference in any car but especially a underpowered car.
Sadly on my repeat visit driving a Clio 172 I couldn't quite remember everything I was shown but it has certainly made a difference to those sections you would normally brake for when there is no reason to actually lift off the accelerator.
Obviously fwd is so forgivving and driving round the circuit really hard in something rwd takes different talent which I dont think I would be too comfortable with straight away.
Can't wait to go back there in a nova again as I do feel very comfortable driving one, last time on the main uphill section I could only get to 115mph as there simply wasn't enough power which is irritating but after that section I felt I had more than enough power to scare myself

Sad for the people who had some troubles with their cars
I was only there on Sunday (it's just 85 miles for me), and had good fun!
Many thanks for Lou Lou , who brought me some stuff over from the uk to germany Very kind, that some people help others...!!
I've seen a lot of cars from some PF people, and damnn they look good Shame that I didn't spoke to the most of you all...
I did a round around the ring for the first time, and almost spin @ adenau
An EsCos with complete original suspension, handles like a floorcloth, what a piece of sh*t
Time to save some money for other shocks and new bushes (already got Eibach springs at home)
When i've done that, it's time to go back
And...I can't wait to go back
A friend of mine made a short movie:

That would have been a 10 min something in that old Sierra of Jim's, with about 500 things going wrong afterwards.
Love that you've gone all sensible Jim
Mike - isn't it past your bedtime?

I can't wait to go again, but this time I had to sit it out as I'd just moved out etc. Wouldn't have been able to take the Leon anyway would I?
